She is the initiator of her private charity project One Word Changes, which stands for gender and race equality, mind and spirit education, as well as community-based sustainable development in Africa. Matthew Potrekus is a marketing professional, entrepreneur, writer, outdoor enthusiast, and environmentalist. Matthew’s passion for sustainability and environmental consciousness is fueled by his love for people, nature, and the great outdoors. In his free time he enjoys trail running, traveling, plant based nutrition, and searching for new challenges! Deemed a "Curator of the Upcycle Fashion Movement", she's spent the last 6 years promoting upcycled fashion design in the United States. Lanni creates “clothing that tells a story" in order to inspire a society to rethink their choices as consumers and influence the fashion industry to reduce their waste stream. She is Co-Creator of Michigan's 1st ever (RE)design Fashion & Art Show, which highlights the innovative artistry of recycling artists & has shown in numerous eco-fashion shows in the US and internationally. Along with being a designer, she teaches Wardrobe REdesign Workshops & gives Eco-Closet Make-Overs. Through her Los Angeles-based label, (RE), Lanni's mission is to bring the concept of creative reuse into the media spotlight. A native Londoner, Lupe’s surname hints at her Spanish descendancy and subsequent ability to operate in multiple languages, where she regularly narrates to an avid multi-lingual readership on her popular blog, Ms Castro On A Motorbike. Lupe has a strong penchant for the ethical side of the industry, which she got involved in long before it became cool. She has for many years worn and styled shoots with sustainable clothing and her love of vintage and eclectic fashion has defined her dress sense: beautifully quirky and original. Laura Molteni is a freelance Italian journalist, crossmedia web editor and photographer, specializing in design and eco-fashion/textile. From 2010 she has collaborated with C.L.A.S.S. (Creativity, Lifestyle And Sustainable Synergy), an eco-platform that supports and promotes environmentally sensible products for fashion, home and design, managing its online media and social contents. As a young woman born and raised around Seattle, WA, Lindsay Bloom attributes the backdrop of her city's neighboring mountains, beautiful peninsulas, and easily accessible old-growth forests as her inspiration for her efforts in conversation and sustainable living. This Pacific North-Westerner received her Bachelors degree in Environmental Studies from The Evergreen State College in 2012. Since then, she has spent time doing volunteer organic farm-work through the WWOOF program on the beautiful Big island of Hawaii.
