Today the East Florida Institute of Letters continues in the same tradtion of Judeo-Christian-Classical education which inspired the East Florida Seminary. We understand that all things, incliding thought and language, are subject to incidental change and the viscissitudes of time. None the less, we affirm that all values, including the value of change itself, must be measured against the touchstone of eternal truths. East Florida Institute of Letters In 1853 the traditional Western curriculum came to Florida in the form of the East Florida Seminary located at Gainesville. Although we are not an organic continuation of that institution, our ideals are a continuation of the high literary and educational standards of America's founders in todays challenging business environment. We promote the free market system in all its moral aspects, and are willing to work with all who promote high business and research standards. We are dedicated to maintaining the standards of the Human Arts and Sciences. Will you be equipped to convey cognitive principles through the use of persuasive language to your target audience? Rightly applied the correct tools of persuasion are what the Classical authors termed "noble rhetoric"...wrongly used it is called the "big lie" we seek to equip those who have a meaningful and productive stake in society to express and advertise their products and professions. Where is the East Florida Institute of Letters? While the old East Florida Seminary was located in Gainesville Flordia, the "campus" of the East Florida Institute of Letters is mostly on line at present. Due to anticipated heavy demand, we plan on moving to a new physical plant to meet expansion needs in the near future. Keep posted for future developments.
