About the European American Business Club Our Mission cultivating personal and business relationships based upon our joint American and international heritage. Amelia Island has an attraction for foreign nationals from around the globe and this group provides an opportunity for such people to promote business and network with our American locals. The EABC strives to create a friendly environment for networking, education, and fellowship that will further business and personal friendships. Speakers at our monthly meetings typically focus on topics of local interest that promote business here and overseas. The EABC hosts several fun social events during the year. The club is an informal, non-profit organization that welcomes everyone desiring to share our common international heritage. Our regular attendees include expatriates, local business people with interesting international business backgrounds and retired business people who have settled here and like to keep connected. If you have traveled as far as Jacksonville airport, the club considers you as someone with international experience! The EABC first met at the Chamber of Commerce in early 2010 with the idea of bringing together international and local business people to share our common interests. The EABC was originally conceived as the European American Business Club since the original board included Helmut Albrecht, Tim Burningham and Caroline Bloechlinger, all with European roots. The initial response was very positive and after five years and over 50 successful meetings, the club continues to flourish. Admission is $12 including appetizers prepared by the club's chef.
