Paul Williams is a strategist, business consultant and coach based in Orlando, Florida. Since 1988, he has advised over 1000 clients in manufacturing, high technology and financial services firms. He emphasizes strategy, focus and results. He has domestic and international, senior management experience in sales, marketing, operations and general management in the aerospace, technology and financial services industries. He consults to and coaches a diverse group of clients throughout the United States. I was born in England, grew up in Canada, and came to the United States in search of greater opportunities in the technology field, specifically computers and software. I’ve not been disappointed! After enjoying a rewarding career in the technology industry, I decided to go into business consulting in 1988. When I am asked to coach a client to reach a higher level, to get unstuck, to achieve a new level of professional and personal performance, a series of thoughtful conversations need to occur. What does the person want to achieve? What are their current circumstances? What are they focused on? What are their daily behaviors? Are their beliefs and actions in alignment with their expressed goals? What’s being said and what’s not being said? Objective feedback and honesty is paramount! Is the person willing to look at things differently, examine their beliefs and potentially change their behavior? It’s not always about doing more.
