Mission and Vision To promote and preserve the Scottish culture in Dunedin throughout the community, including all Scottish visual and performing arts. We are working towards promoting and preserving Scottish culture in Dunedin through the fostering, cooperation and collaboration of all Scottish and associated groups in the City. We have plans for an enhanced outreach program through education, and presenting workshops and programs on music and dance. We will also organize and promote the funding of traditional competitions in athletics, piping, drumming, dance, art and writing. In support of this mission it is our intention to help provide funding for scholarships in Highland Dancing, Piping, Drumming and Heavy Athletics to maintain and promote Scottish cultural activities. We are getting ready for the biggest week of the year, Highland Games Week! We’re holding a Hail to the Chieftain at Weaver Park, a Parade down Main Street, and a Ceilidh in Pioneer Park, all in the week of the Highland Games!
