With nearly 30 years of experience in transportation planning, Dunbar Transportation Consulting provides a wide array of expertise. Prior to opening DTC, Julie Dunbar, president and sole proprietor, spent more than 18 years with the North Central Texas Council of Governments, the MPO for the Dallas/Fort Worth area, working on a variety of multi-modal planning efforts. DTC is a woman owned business (WBE/DBE) certified in Illinois, Arizona, Florida, Michigan, Oklahoma, Texas and Tennessee. Past work has included multi modal corridor analysis, travel demand model development and application, Federal Transit Administration Alternative Analysis/New Starts, rail corridor planning and system planning. A licensed Professional Engineer in Texas, Ms. Dunbar's range of project responsibilities has covered project management, technical analysis and public involvement/communication.
