Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business S2 is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business formed by key individuals from top DOD contractors who have produced large scale enterprise solutions from the federal, defense, and civil sectors. This background provides experience in utilizing rigorous development procedures following both CMMI and ISO standards. The founders of DS2 also have a rich experience in the aerospace industry with a vast amount of experience in the GIS industry. From these experiences DS2 was established with the principal goal of developing cutting-edge solutions utilizing best practices and industry standards, but without the red-tape and inflexibility of a large corporation. Thus, DS2 was created to be dynamic and nimble, providing quality products efficiently and effectively at a great value. DS2 has several active contracts at any time, performing services for both commercial and DOD entities. We are teamed with several large DOD contractors and agencies. DS2 is a member of the National Advanced Mobility Consortium, Inc. (“NAMC”), formerly the Robotics Technology Consortium (RTC). This is a non-profit, member-driven organization of traditional and non-traditional small businesses, large defense contractors, academic institutions, and other research organizations. NAMC accelerates the transition of innovative technology into transformative ground vehicles and systems in several important ways: DS2 is partnered with  DCS Corporation for the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Expedited Professional & Engineering Support Services (EXPRESS) blanket purchase agreement (BPA) on the GSA Federal Supply Schedules to provide technical support for AMCOM, and it’s Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC), the Program Executive Offices (PEO), and allies for fielded Army aviation and missile systems. DS2 develops and integrates advanced technologies during the entire lifecycle, including software development and maintenance. DS2 is a teammate of Applied Research Associates, Inc. on the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC), Requirements & Acquisition Division (AFCEC/CXA) continuing requirement for Research and Development (R&D) for airbase systems. The scope of this effort is to provide research and development for AFCEC in the development and evaluation of enhanced and emerging technologies under robotics and automation through April 30, 2020. DS2 will develop and support integration of advanced geospatial technologies for the robotic platforms and systems. DS2 is also a service provider partner of Herndon VA–based DLT Solutions LLC, one of the leading value added re-sellers to federal, state, and local government customers. DLT Solutions offers a broad selection of best-in- class information technology products (both hardware and software) and superior services, including the services of DS2. Services are available through multiple company-wide and divisional contract vehicles, simplifying the procurement process for federal, state and local government agencies as well as their authorized prime contractors. DS2 is a teammate of DCS Corp on PMA-281 to support Strike Planning & Execution Systems capabilities to the joint service warfighters. The scope of PMA-281 is to provide support for Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) software development, test and evaluation, maintenance, integration, training, and fielding. DS2 will support the development and evolution of the JMPS Mission Planning Environment (MPE) and Common Control Systems (CCS) capabilities and components and provide functional capabilities for calculations and evaluations of pre-flight and contingency route plans. NETCENTS-2 Small Business (SB) Application Services DS2 is proud to be a teammate of Diligent Consulting Inc. on the Network-Centric Solutions-2 (NETCENTS-2) Small Business (SB) Application Services contract. The NETCENTS-2 contracts provide the Air Force with a primary source of netcentric and IT products, services, and solutions. The Diligent team is number 1 in task order awards under the NETCENTS-2 SB Applications Services contract which includes support for sustainment, integration, migration, help desk support, training, testing, and operational support. As a Microsoft Partner, DS2 has increased our technical expertise and know-how by working with the most current Microsoft platforms for testing, development, and training purposes. DS2 is a business partner with GIS industry leader Esri. The Esri Partner Network provides partners an edge when developing and delivering real solutions to solve today's toughest geospatial challenges. The Autodesk Developer Network was created for companies like DS2 seeking proven tools and technologies to extend Autodesk products and technologies in order to produce superior design, geospatial, and entertainment software solutions. DS2 has teamed together with Stratus Technologies to provide extremely reliable and fault tolerant computer servers for our most demanding customers.
