Our Mission Fernando Garcia was born in Sao Paulo, Brasil in 1968. He began working with his uncle in the upholstery business at the age of 13 years old and hasn’t looked back since. He came to the United States of America in 1999 to Boston, Massachusetts where he worked in the upholstery business. In 2005, Fernando moved to Florida and opened up his own upholstery business. He stayed at his shop until 2010, when he got offered a project to work on a Brazilian TV show, Lata Velha, which customized older cars and brought them back to life. He remained on this TV show for 2 seasons, which had a total of 10 episodes each season. After Lata Velha, he worked on two projects that were part of a partnership between Shell And Warner Bros. Our mission is to create cutting edge projects. We use ideal selection of materials transforming driving in pleasure and delivering quality of tailoring. Pursuing that, In 2015, Fernando reopened the doors of his own shop to his old and, now new customers as well. He is now looking to expand and take on new endeavors with the reopening of Dream UP Auto Interiors. Fernando looks to work with hot rods, exotic cars, and many more! All jobs are done on a time and materials basis. Billing is based on actual hours spent on the car and parts and materials used. A ballpark cost can be estimated, but final costs are based on real time spent. The variables in restoring these wonderful old cars are countless, and each one is unique and will have its own set of challenges. When a shop quotes a firm price, the trouble starts when that price can’t be met toward the end of the project. Corners are cut to make the price, and the job suffers. Nobody wins.
