Dr. Weise believes that therapy involves compassionately listening and understanding.  While being dedicated to learning various ways of helping people, he appreciates that each individual is unique. He works collaboratively with each client to find what works for him or her.  He believes that true healing comes not only from changing negative thoughts and beliefs, but also becoming more self-aware of feelings, bodily states, and the subtle choices he or she makes.  Dr. Weise helps clients heal old wounds, learn effective ways of managing uncomfortable emotions, change problematic behavior patterns, and improve their relationships.
