I was born in Venezuela and moved to Miami with my family as a young child. Figuring out how to make friends, learn a new language, and earn good school grades was an adjustment to say the least. From a young age, my parents' upbringing and my schooling instilled within me a profound desire to help others as part of a bigger picture - In graduate school, I mostly worked with school age children and adolescents in various clinical settings. I couldn't help but wonder, what if these issues were addressed before, when they were much younger, when their parents had a stronger say, when the relationships within the family were not so stricken with years of pain and guilt?  What if I helped at the beginning? With a specialization in issues specific to the 0-5 age range, I deeply enjoy providing therapy for kids and helping parents repair and strengthen their budding relationship with their children.  To catch a glimpse of a child's expression of relief, gratitude, happiness, and appreciation for their parent when they are accepted for who they are is rewarding beyond words.   ​If you're having troubles with your child, don't wait to get help.
