Downtown Auto Service, Inc. was founded in 1976 by Lewis H. Kent, a local business man and Professional Land Surveyor. Mr. Kent saw a need not only for his company, George F. Young, Inc.; a local Civil Engineering and Surveying firm in St. Petersburg, but for the entire metropolitan St. Petersburg area. That need was for a convenient automotive service and repair center that customers could rely on to be honest and fair. Max Lewis is the Service Manager at Downtown Auto and has been with the company since 1989. Max brings to his customers over 40 years of automotive service and repair experience, while embracing the latest computer technology for diagnosing your vehicle's condition. We are your Downtown St. Petersburg Auto Service Place Downtown Auto Service Center is downtown St. Petersburg's only locally owned full service automotive maintenance and repair facility.
