Gerard Baker is Editor in Chief of The Wall Street Journal and Managing Editor of Dow Jones, roles he assumed on January 1, 2013. Mr. Baker is responsible for all global newsgathering and editorial operations for The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Newswires. Mr. Baker previously served as Deputy Editor in Chief of The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Newswires. Before joining the Journal, Mr. Baker was the U.S. Editor and an Assistant Editor of The Times of London, where he wrote news and commentary. He also oversaw U.S. coverage for both the print and online editions. From 1994 to 2004, Mr. Baker worked for the Financial Times, first as Tokyo Correspondent, and then, from 1998 to 2002, as Washington Bureau Chief. From 2002 to 2004, he was the FT’s Chief U.S. Commentator and an Associate Editor. Prior to the FT, Mr. Baker worked for the BBC from 1988 to 1994 as a producer, then as U.S. producer, and finally as Economics Correspondent for TV and radio. Mr. Baker’s work has appeared in several other publications, and he has been a frequent television and radio contributor around the world. He started his career in the financial sector, first as an analyst at the Bank of England, then as an economist at Lloyds Bank in the City of London. Mr. Baker holds a First Class Honours Degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Corpus Christi College, Oxford University. Anna Sedgley is the Chief Operating Officer of Dow Jones, a role she assumed in January 2017. She was previously Chief Financial Officer and held the dual roles of COO and CFO until November 2017. As Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Sedgley leads the Dow Jones Operations Group and oversees the Print Products and Services unit, legal and risk management services as well as technology, facilities and security. Ms. Sedgley continues her oversight of the company’s financial performance via the Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Sedgley joined Dow Jones in October 2009 as Vice President, Finance, after 10 years at BSkyB, now known as Sky, which is part of 21st Century Fox. At Sky she provided financial support for a number of business functions including marketing, circulation, supply chain and technology. Ms. Sedgley began her career as a trainee Chartered Accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers in London. After qualification, she spent two years working in finance at Debenhams PLC, a leading U.K. department store. She is a graduate of the University of Adelaide, Australia. Mark Musgrave is the Chief People Officer of Dow Jones, a role he assumed in April 2012. Mr. Musgrave oversees all aspects of human resources worldwide, including talent development, employee engagement, labor relations, compensation and benefits. Mr. Musgrave previously held senior roles at News Corp, parent company of Dow Jones. As Senior Vice President, International Human Resources, he was responsible for identifying and improving collaboration and human resources effectiveness across the numerous divisions within the organization. Prior to joining News Corp, Mr. Musgrave spent nearly eight years at BSkyB, now known as Sky, where he held a variety of HR related roles. Mr. Musgrave holds a master’s degree in human resource management from Middlesex University, and a bachelor’s degree from Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London.   Edward Roussel is Chief Innovation Officer at Dow Jones, where he is responsible for identifying areas of new opportunity, with a focus on startups and relations with Silicon Valley companies. Edward joined Dow Jones in June 2013 as head of digital product development, overseeing projects including the redesign of The Wall Street Journal’s website and apps. Before joining Dow Jones, Edward worked at the Telegraph Media Group in London for seven years. As Executive Editor, Digital, Edward headed the Telegraph’s website and mobile products. He played a central role in reorganizing the newsroom to place digital journalism at its core. During his tenure, the Telegraph website saw record-breaking website growth and won awards for Consumer Website of the Year and Digital Publisher of the Year by the U.K. Association of Online Publishers. Edward worked at Bloomberg from 1992 to 2004, playing a key part in the company’s rapid editorial expansion. He oversaw global financial coverage, leading a team of more than 130 journalists. In earlier roles at Bloomberg, Edward was bureau chief in Brussels, Paris and London. Christina Van Tassell Christina Van Tassell is the Chief Financial Officer of Dow Jones. She joined the company in November 2017. Ms. Van Tassell is responsible for the preparation and reporting of the company’s financial performance, providing strategic guidance and analytical insight to support business performance, forecasting, treasury, taxation and governance. Prior to joining Dow Jones, Ms. Van Tassell was the Chief Financial Officer of Xaxis, a WPP Company. She was also Partner and Chief Financial Officer at Centurion Holdings. She began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers where she held senior roles in New York, London and Sweden. Ms. Van Tassell received her dual Masters of Business Administration from Columbia Business School and London Business School. She received a B.A. degree from Muhlenberg College. Kristin Heitmann was named Chief Commercial Officer for the Dow Jones Global Media and Marketing Solutions team in December 2017. In this role, Kristin is responsible for driving advertising and media solutions revenue across Dow Jones products. She was previously Chief Transformation Officer, providing business leadership to WSJ2020, the Wall Street Journal’s change management program focused on positioning the business for future growth. Ms. Heitmann joined Dow Jones in 2010. In that time, she has led the implementation of WSJ’s updated paywall strategy as General Manager of WSJ digital products and held various senior positions, including leading the Global Business Development team which manages Dow Jones’ largest technology and social media partnerships. Her career began at Viacom, where she focused on Corporate Relations. Ms. Heitmann graduated with honors from Brown University with a degree in Political Science. She also earned a Masters in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from New York University with a concentration in Finance.
