Douglas Cook currently serves as the CEO and founder of Douglas Cook Enterprises, overseeing all construction operations. Since establishing in 1993, he built his company’s foundation by becoming the lead expert in restaurant development. For over 15 years, he’s constructed numerous McDonald’s establishments throughout the southeast area of the United States. He has successfully expanded his practice to other restaurant franchises and commercial developments including luxury apartments, medical centers, historical renovations and office buildings. Hard work and determination influenced his endeavor to meet timely deadlines while adhering to strict guidelines. His quality work ethic is inspiringly encouraged among his staff. The company‘s reputation is based on his core value of fulfilling the clients’ vision. He exceeds expectations with quality workmanship and consistent follow through on completion dates. Mike Labat has worked at Douglas Cook Enterprises for over 12 years. Starting off working in the field, he quickly showed signs of a dedicated leader. Having worked for the McDonalds Corporation for over 15 years, we are well versed to adhere to the client’s strict guidelines and quality standard. With this new rebuild, we assisted from the day the doors were closed to the grand reopening. We helped remove and package all equipment the owner will reuse, to hanging bulletin boards and clean up for opening day. The Abbott contracted Douglas Cook Enterprises for its 5 fully furnished, luxury apartments, along with a common area that features a wine room, private wine lockers for its residents, and a guest powder room. In keeping with the Art and Warehouse district landscape, we historically preserved the exterior and main structure of the building. One will enjoy the integrity and allure of the original features including beams, original brick walls, and plaster yet blended with a luxurious new constructed interior.
