Who We Are Dogs in Crisis is a unique organization, in that, it was developed to aid other existing 501(c)3 non-profit pet rescues within the local community of South Dade … an area of South Florida often in the news as it has the greatest number of abandoned, abused, unaltered and neglected pets. Dogs In Crisis helps by providing a network of committed and caring volunteers who tirelessly and generously give of their time to help dogs. At this time, Dogs In Crisis ‘ focus in on dogs at a local outdoor shelter where some have been kenneled for two years and additional dogs in need are added regularly Our Goal is to place all of these dogs in foster or forever homes and continue this effort in hopes no dog is kenneled for more than 6 months. Additionally, when residents cannot keep their dog, we help them find a good home or if possible, we provide assistance to help the families keep their dog.
