Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, DocsConnect Pamela Mathews is a seasoned healthcare professional with more than 25 years of experience consulting with home health services and equipment providers, Management Services Organizations (MSOs), Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Facilities (ALFs/SNFs), as well as various physician groups. Ms. Mathews has a deep understanding of the current healthcare system and what it takes to achieve success by creating medical care products, offerings and developing strategic business relationships. She has held executive level positions, including Sr. Vice President roles, in business development, marketing, sales and territory management for several healthcare providers. A highly effective businesswoman with a penchant for building close working relationships with physician clients, Ms. Mathews started a successful home doctor’s services company focused on ALFs and SNFs. She continued to evolve her company’s offerings by founding and growing a telemedicine company, DocsConnect, LLC. The company was established to optimize care for all patients, at all times, and at all locations by trained physicians. Its goal is to provide flexibility into the patient care process, while also avoiding hospitalizations and re-hospitalizations. Her telemedicine vision helps patients and organizations access affordable healthcare if they are uninsured, have high deductibles, high co-payments or do not have access to doctors. Ms. Mathews quickly identified the scalability of telemedicine by providing doctor networks and patient groups with the technology to provide and receive needed medical advice virtually. Currently, DocsConnect, LLC services both domestic and global demands for healthcare with thousands of physicians and contracts that represent millions of patients worldwide. Docsconnect holds an exclusive contract with the AIMIS group. Ms. Mathews has made this possible through her strategic abilities. Co-Founder, DocsConnect As Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cole Engineering Services, Inc. (CESI), it was Bryan Cole's vision for a customer centric, innovative and responsive, engineering company that gave birth to CESI. As a former Division Manager at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), he managed the development of complex modeling and simulation systems like: ModSAF, Automated Exercise and Assessment System (AEAS), Dismounted Infantry SAF (DISAF), Virtual Emergency Response Training System (VERTS) and OneSAF. Mr. Cole earned a Bachelor's Degree from Southern Illinois University in 1981, then studied engineering at the University of Central Florida. Mr. Cole founded CESI in 2004 and it has since grown to be a recognized leader in the Florida Modeling and Simulation Industry. His team of highly educated and capable engineers and scientists are committed to delivering quality simulation and training solutions to our warfighters and first responders. Under his leadership, CESI now contributes over $25M/year in revenue to the Florida economy, while the company experiences a combined year-over-year growth rate of 20%+. In 2013, Mr. Cole applied his entrepreneurial spirit to establish expertise in telemedicine. This led to the development of Docsconnect, LLC. Mr. Cole’s technology background and vision has been a leading source for Docsconnect from the beginning. Mr. Cole’s desire to make a profound change within the medical industry by helping people has been the passion behind Docsconnect. Mr. Cole is part owner and an investor within Docsconnect. Finally, at the onset of the company, Cole Engineering, Mr. Cole’s emphasis was always on creating the right culture for CESI employees. As a testament to his success in that regard, CESI has been recognized as an Orlando Sentinel “Top 100 Company for Working Families” four (4) years in a row. CESI has also received a Florida Trend magazine “Florida’s Best Companies to Work For” honor three (3) out of the four (4) past years including 2014. Dr. Korangy is a Board Certified Neuroradiologist who has spent his entire career involved with developing and implementing telehealth systems. As a founder of CareClix he has helped develop one of the most robust mhealth platforms in the world. Dr. Korangy completed his medical degree at the George Washington University where he also obtained a Masters in Public Health. He went on to complete his medical training at Georgetown University, as well as at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Korangy routinely lectures and teaches courses regarding the topic of telemedicine. Chief Operating Officer and Member, DocsConnect LLC Law Firm, P.A., which began operating in 2002. After earning his Juris before opening his law firm, Mr. Torchia, along with three other business software and programming technology development company (Sitepen, Inc.) in Santa Monica, California. Mr. Torchia served as the company's Chief As a lawyer, Mr. Torchia focuses his practice on business to business also as a member of the Seminole County Public Schools Business Advisory Board, a group of business owners who provide operational counsel to the Mr. Torchia is a member of Docsconnect, LLC and brings his experience in the Member of Docsconnect LLC Upen is a visionary healthcare executive bagging more than 16 years of experience in US Healthcare and 4 years as a business owner. Upen has an illustrious career span working for various health plans, IPAs, and provider groups. He has worked for Wellcare Health plans (NYSE: WCG), various IPAs, ACOs and served as CIO of Citrus Health Care, a United Healthcare (NYSE: UNH) company. His expertise includes many facets of technical and managerial skills pertaining to the US healthcare. To list a few, his arsenal consists of skills like, developing a healthcare managed care software solutions, implementing US HITECH act of Meaningful Use EMR, facilitating smooth transitions during giant healthcare system acquisitions, etc. He has also shared his expertise in building & streamlining many Health IT companies to strategize their healthcare IT and business development. Upen has donned many hats as an Executive Sponsor, CIO, Director, Consultant, and Software developer.
