Larry is licensed as an Electric Sign Specialized Registered Contractor in Escambia, Santa Rosa and Okaloosa Counties in Florida. In Escambia County, Larry is licensed for landscaping and tree surgery. Larry currently holds a Florida CDL Class-A license for commercial motor vehicles. Dockside Doctor. is owned and operated by Larry Hayes, who founded the company in 1987 while serving in the U.S. Navy. Larry retired in 1990 as a Chief Petty Officer Aviation Electrician’s Mate. During active duty, Larry spent five years on the acclaimed, elite U.S. Navy Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Maintenance Crew. During his military career, Larry accumulated 5,000 flight hours as a naval air crewman flight engineer on the Lockheed C-130 Hercules aircraft. Welcome to Dockside Doctor!
