William Henderson (also known as Bill or Billy), has a beautiful wife Nadine, and two amazing young boys that fullfill his life immensely.  He is the founder of Dock Medics LLC.  He is a clearwataer dock builder along with all other cities in Pinellas and Hillsborough county.  He has  has been building Docks since 1991.  He spent the first 2 years of his apprenticeship with Dock Masters of Homosassa owned by  Rodney MacRae.  During that time he was offered a position at Speeler Enterprise, owned by Doug Speeler Sr.  Bill worked for Doug Speeler Sr. from 1993 to 2008 where he perfected all the aspects of the marine construction business.  He was a Foreman and led a crew for those years as well.  From 2008 to 2011 Bill chose to work for Kevin Macnamara at Bay Dock Enterprise of Tampa.  The education and experience he received by working for great men like Rodney, all the Speelers (Doug Sr, Doug Jr., Mark), and Kevin is something you cannot learn from a book or classroom.   Bill has set thousands of Pilings, hundreds of Lifts, and has built many Marinas in the area.  Bill recognized his calling and formed Dock Medics LLC in 2011.  His main goal is to make your Dock the focal point of your property.  He wants ‘ Dock Medics is a State Certified Marine Contractor.  State Certified Marine Contractors are licensed to work throughout the state and are held to a greater level of competency than a county certified contractor.  As a homeowner, you are also protected from  monetary loss by the Florida Homeowner’s Construction Recovery Fund.  This  fund is available only if your contractor is State licensed.For your protection, Dock Medics is a fully State licensed  Marine Specialty Contractor and also carries State mandated Workers Compensation and Commercial Liability insurance coverages, including Federal Longshoreman and Jones Act coverage for marine work.  Copies of all these are available at your request prior to start of the project.
