DNB International’s Story Back in 1988, David Brecher was selling cutting edge cellular phones in New York City and his girlfriend Nicole was working for an art gallery on 57th Street. She found a Girard Perregaux Chronograph watch after a gallery opening. She presented the watch to the director of the gallery who replied, "Keep it in your desk draw for 30 days. If no one claims it, it's yours." Well 30 days came and went and the watch was hers. David took the watch down to 47th Street to try to sell it. While walking up and down the Diamond District he felt the excitement that the street had to offer. David didn't sell the watch that day. And the experience set the wheels in motion for what was going to be his future, their future. David began working for a jewelry store that specialized in buying and selling pre-owned Rolex and other high grade Swiss watches. While working downtown in the jewelry district, David managed to learn the business quickly and earned a reputation of being honest and trust worthy, which is what it takes to be successful in this business. the now married David and Nicole started DNB International Inc. The following month David traveled to his first watch show in Orlando, Florida and joined the International Watch and Jewelry Guild. He has been an outstanding member since and has attended every show. He has also been a member of Polygon Jewelry Network since 1996 and a member of World Wide Traders since 2005. Since 1991, DNB International Inc has become a recognized name throughout the watch industry.
