Dixie Interiors, Inc is owned by Ron and Linda Grubbs. It is a family owned business since April 2002. The company primary business is to custom build and remodel residential homes and commercial buildings. Ron has been working in the construction business since 1987. Ron started his construction career in 1987, and he was working for a company called Merick Interiors in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1991, the President of Merick Interiors moved to Greensboro, North Carolina and started his own company. The company's primary business was metal stud framing and drywalling. Ron followed the move and worked for the company as a General Foreman until the company went out of business in 1995. After the company went out of business, Ron started sub-contracting in drywalling from various builders until 1999. Then, Ron started working for Accusti Engineering of Pensacola as a metal stud framer and drywaller. In 2002, Ron and his wife, Linda, had formed their own company called Dixie Interiors, Inc. At the beginning, their primary business was professional drywall service. In June 2007, Ron earned his Florida builder license. The company started remodeling kitchens and baths at that time.
