Owner Wanda Harris started Dixie Custom Contracting, Inc. in 1995 after working in the construction industry for over 20 years. Having experience with production homes, commercial work, and custom homes. Wanda is able to accomplish both large and small projects. Being a smaller company allows her to oversee all phases of projects and to deal directly with homeowners. This is an important factor in Wanda's decision not to become a large company, which would negate her ability to give intense personal attention to detail. Wanda became involved with remodeling by renovating a few kitchens. That experience escalated into full-scale additions and renovations. Due to the number of satisfied customers, most of the projects completed by Dixie Custom Contracting, Inc are word-of-mouth referrals. Dixie Custom Contracting has completed custom work in the Oviedo, Maitland, and Winter Park areas. Additionally, renovation has been completed in the Windermere, Geneva and Chuluota areas.
