Who are the Diva Fit Pros?! The Diva Fit Pros (DFP) was established by Karina Nascimento and Karen Yoakum of Boca Raton, Florida. Both are professional athletes in the IFBB and met in 2014, but it wasn’t until 2017 that DFP was born. It all began one Sunday afternoon (January 15, 2017 to be exact!) at Busy Body Fitness in West Boca when they decided to go live on Facebook prior to training. They enjoyed the energy they shared, and the interaction with friends and fans. After signing off of the Facebook session, they vowed to make it a weekly habit. Knowing they had to have a name for their dynamic team, they came up with Diva Fit Pros and have been live on Facebook each and every week! Diva Fit Pros are passionate about supporting, motivating, and inspiring those both within & outside of the fitness industry. The Divas strive to empower people to go after their dreams, stay positive, and overcome obstacles. Karen & Karina love sharing their experiences on their Facebook Live episodes. They discuss fitness, health, motivation. They cover some not so serious topics like dating tips and gym etiquette, but also interview many well known members of the fitness industry. So far, they’ve interviewed Bob Chicarello – The Voice of Bodybuilding, and J.M. Manion – Chief Photographer for NPC News Online, P.J. Braun – President of Blackstone Labs, Yesenia Perez – IFBB Pro Fitness Athlete, Ana Delia De Iturrondo – Fitness cover model, and Tad the Diet Coach – IFBB Judge & Diet Coach. More to come! Karen is native Floridian, an IFBB Bikini professional athlete, and owner of Diva Squad Fitness. Her clientele is an equal number of fitness competitors, and those who want who want to improve their health through personalized online health & fitness programs. Karen participated in highly competitive sports since she was five. She worked while attending high school and college. Karen earned an academic scholarship and graduated from the University of Florida. With an entrepreneurial spirit, she started her first business at the age of 25. She has no doubt that her healthy and positive upbringing, and participation in sports helped her succeed in business and as a professional athlete.
