The codes under which the plans were designed are those in force in the designer’s local region. The customer is responsible to ensure compliance with local building codes. Local building jurisdictions may require Lateral Analysis or other engineering services. These services are often best handled by those familiar with your local codes and requirements. We do want to note that structural drawings as well as details about heating and plumbing are not included in our pre-designed house plans. There are several good reasons for this, including the variance of local codes, methods of installation, as well as personal preferences. However, this shouldn’t be a huge concern, as your contractor, builder, or supplier can easily provide these details and specifications.
