Noah’s is a co-founder of JointPoint and served as CTO from 2011 – 2016 before assuming his present leadership responsibilities. Noah’s background includes the development and commercialization of software systems in a variety of industries, with an emphasis on decision support and analytic systems. He is passionate about improving patient care by providing surgeons with intraoperative data that can guide surgical decision-making. Mike's 15+ years of sales leadership in the orthopaedic medical device industry included daily interactions with hospital personnel, surgeons, and sales teams. Product experience with adult joint reconstruction, pediatric deformity correction, spinal fusion hardware, durable medical equipment, biologics, and trauma fixation devices provided a well rounded view of different sales processes and new product launch strategies. Mike's experiences with x-ray utilization in orthopaedic procedures will help continue to drive innovation and improve existing JointPoint technologies. Mike graduated from the University of Miami (FL) with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems. He currently resides in the Tampa Bay Florida area where he enjoys spending time at the beach, boating, and being outdoors with his wife and two daughters. Dr. Cooper observed early in his DAA adoption that existing surgical techniques rely on “eyeballing” fluoroscopy to guide intraoperative decision-making, a process that increases the potential for surgical outliers. He was convinced there had to be a better technique, and embarked on his mission to develop a technology that can guide surgical decision making by analyzing, not eyeballing, fluoroscopy. Lon has over 20 years of Sales, Sales Management and Business Development experience in the medical device space. Since 1996 he has been focused on Orthopedics with both invasive and non-invasive technologies for the management of soft tissue, bone and joint disease. Throughout Lon’s career he has been involved in the launching of new technologies, company acquisitions, establishing strategic distribution partnerships as well as hiring and overseeing direct and independent sales forces. Laura has extensive experience in orthopedics, most recently running the practice of a high-volume surgeon. During that time, her daily interactions with patients, hospitals and orthopedic device manufacturers gives her a unique understanding of product rollout in hospitals. Her experience in multitasking and driving efficiencies are invaluable in her role at JointPoint. Laura earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of South Florida. Cameron has built and deployed mission-critical software solutions used throughout the world during his career and is a recognized expert in Microsoft and iOS development technologies. His previous work included working with UNOS on the system that developed the national organ donation waiting list. He has also worked on emergency response analytic systems that have been deployed in emergency response centers throughout the world. Thangaraja has worked with consulting firm Scopus IT as a QA Engineer for over 5 years. He was a consulting test engineer at Google for 3 ½ years where he focused his testing efforts on Google’s regulated advertising systems that have been deployed throughout the world. He performs all V&V testing prior to each software release and deployment in addition to leading general testing efforts. Dr. Matta, founder and director of the Hip & Pelvis Institute at Saint John's HealthCenter in Santa Monica, CA, is a recognized national and international lecturer regarding hip and pelvis surgery. He is credited with the largest single surgeon data base regarding operative treatment and results of pelvic and acetabular fractures. Dr. Matta is the author of over 100 publications and videos about hip replacement and pelvic surgery. Additionally he has been involved with designing orthopaedic products including fracture fixation implants, orthopaedic surgical instruments, primary and revision hip prostheses, and orthopaedic operating tables. An advisor to JointPoint, Dr. Cutie presently leads clincial development at TARIS, a venture-backed biotechnology company. He was previously an Instructor in Surgery/Assistant in Urology at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. In this capacity, he was primarily responsible for the surgical care and management of patients with complex urologic malignancies, specifically prostate and bladder cancer. He earned a BS with Distinction in Anthropology, summa cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and an M.D. from the Yale School of Medicine, with fellowship training at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. He is a board-certified physician and licensed to practice medicine by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine.
