I have always been a hands on person. I have degrees in Interior Design and Fine Arts. I have studied many different forms of art: sculpture, woodworking , ceramics, weaving, and painting. I love to get my hands into something and have a finished product that I can proudly say I made. About 15 years ago, after working for a sculpter for many years, I got married and had 2 children and settled into a position at a local gift shop. The job blossomed into my present career as a jewelry buyer. This summer, a girl came into the gift shop with some samples of hand-stamped jewelry. I thought they were really great but very pricey. An idea was born. After doing some research, I purchased some jewelry stamps and supplies, borrowed one of my husband’s hammers and brought my pendants to the store to see what people thought.
