In July 2017, the company was acquired by Portland, Ore.-based Viewpoint. By the time Viewpoint acquired Dexter + Chaney in 2017, thousands of clients were using Spectrum to manage all aspects of their businesses from accounting to project management to service management, to equipment management, to document control, human resources and payroll, inventory, materials management, and much more. Viewpoint executives put their clients first, listening to their issues and collaborating with them to continually improve products and services. Here are the key management leaders: Manolis Kotzabasakis serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Viewpoint, joining in August 2015. Kotzabasakis comes to Viewpoint from AspenTech, the world leader in software that optimizes complex production processes for the oil & gas, chemical and construction industries. During his 18 years with AspenTech, Kotzabasakis held several executive positions including Marketing & Strategy, Worldwide Sales Operations and most recently served as Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President, Research & Development, where he led the creation of AspenTech's technical/scientific vision and strategy on a global basis. Norbert provides strategic guidance and leadership to keep Viewpoint at the head of the pack when it comes to client satisfaction and transformative innovation. He has a long and distinguished 25 year career of executive leadership roles in the software industry, including his most recent tenure as CEO at Dexter + Chaney where he was responsible for all aspects of strategic planning and operational execution for all products and services. He is experienced in leading various customer-facing functions throughout his career, which gives him a deep understanding of the importance of client services and a passion for the benefits digital transformation can provide clients. Norbert holds a degree in business from the University of Washington. Kelly joined Viewpoint in November 2015 as Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for building strong business strategies that drive profitable growth as well as diverse and strategic teams. Kelly brings over 25 years of progressive finance and accounting experience with publically traded, venture-backed, and private equity companies. Armed with a BA in Business Administration from Seattle University, Kelly began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (formerly Price Waterhouse LLP). Kelly was most recently Vice President and CFO for Tripwire, a high growth international cybersecurity software developer. Kelly has also served as Executive Vice President and CFO at Merix Corporation, and was the VP Corporate Controller and Treasurer at Schnitzer Steel. Over the years Kelly has held a variety of financial management roles including VP of Capital Investments and Business Integration, VP of Finance, and Manager of Strategic Analysis. Tom McNamara oversees Viewpoint's global sales force including North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia sales teams. He brings almost three decades of sales experience to the Viewpoint leadership team along with exceptionally strong strategic, analytical and financial skills. He is focused on building high performing sales teams who focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving aggressive business growth. Tom came to Viewpoint from NAVEX Global, where he spent almost ten years, most recently as Chief Revenue Officer. During his tenure there he designed and implemented the sales coverage model for the company. Prior to NAVEX Global, Tom was with Associated Business Systems for 5 years, and with Xerox for 12 years, in a variety of increasingly responsible Sales Management positions, where he consistently recruited, hired, and retained strong Sales leadership teams.
