Who is Developing Healthy Habits? Developing Healthy Habits, LLC. Mark Carroll is an experienced and resourceful entrepreneur. He has built several successful businesses in various fields over the past 35 years. As the publication grew, he realized that he could not customize for every store. Like so many of the stores he sent the newsletter to, his was a family business. As a family, they put their heads together and came up with the name “Developing Healthy Habits.” Since that is what they were all trying to do, they agreed that it was the perfect name for their publication. They received their certificate of registration from the Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office on September 3, 2002. Mark decided from the beginning that he did not want “infomercials” in their newsletter. He knew that, if a reader was to trust the information printed, it must be from a third party and not someone specifically trying to “sell” something. He has stuck to that plan since the first edition.
