I'm Rick Thacker. I am the owner of Design 9 Hair studio. I started off my carreer in the beauty industry over 25 yrs ago. My initial traning was in Arizona at a Pivot Point Academy. After my training I continued to work in Arizona for four years. I then headed east where I had further training at the Pivot Point Academy in Chicago. I then returned to my home state of Ohio where I worked and trained at an itercoiffure salon for 7 years and became a well know stylist in that area and then moved out on my own for several more years. At the age 40 I moved to North Carolina to pursue a dream of owning a B&B while continuing with my love of doing hair for 10 years. Now in Pensacola, I fell in love with the area and a row of brightly colored cottages on 9th Ave. This is where I now have my own salon and am building a clientele and a team of successful stylists. I love my career and my goal is to make it show in my work. Making clients feel good about themselves and their hair is important work and I like to think I make a difference in their lives. We are constantly adding to our selection as we are continuously being educated on what's new and improved and what our clients want.
