. She grew up surrounded by blueprints and immersed in design with her father as her guide in the family construction business. She holds an Associate of Science degree in Interior Design from Indian River State College, as well as certificates in Home Staging, and Kitchen and Bath Design. She earned a B.A. in Urban Studies from the University of Rhode Island. After graduation, Jo-Ann worked for the city of Providence, Rhode Island. Later she held a management position in a Fortune 500 company where she honed her skills in managing people, meeting deadlines and further developing her creative skills. Several of her ideas became national campaigns. Derrico Design specializes in residential interior design.
