A Central Florida native, Derrick Koger is a third-generation craftsman. He founded Derrick Builders, Inc. in 1990 after obtaining over 15 years of building experience and field work. As the company’s owner and president, Derrick is directly involved throughout the design and building processes, ensuring efficiency and quality from start to finish. Nick has been with Derrick Builders for 19 years, first starting in general field work to becoming our project manager. Nick works one-on-one with our vendors and subcontractors, keeping schedules on time and budgets in balance. From foundation to final walk-through, Nick is on the job each day overseeing every stage of the home’s construction. Michelle manages daily business operations and administrative responsibilities. She has 7 years of office management experience, and is the central point of communication for our homeowners, subcontractors and within the Derrick Builders team. We have partnered with exceptional architectural and interior designers who understand how to implement ideas into functional design that accommodates the lifestyle and specific needs of each homeowner, their unique home sites, and surrounding landscapes. Derrick, our owner and president, personally involves himself from day one with the client and design team and always keeps a team approach as the focus throughout the home’s construction.
