I was born and raised in the Chicago area, attended college in bucolic Urbana, and graduate school at the University of Chicago’s business school, which was until recently called the Graduate School of Business (now it’s called Booth – thank you, Mr. Booth). I love fresh thinking, the energy of a city, and the stimulation of a good discussion. I am an eternal student of literature and business, an aspiring cook, gardener, photographer, and videographer, a Francophile, occasional trivia champ, and a book lover (yes, the paper kind).
