Who we are About Daytona Aviation Academy Daytona Aviation Academy (DAA) was founded by pilots for pilots. The founders envisioned a school based on integrity, safety and professionalism. We treat all our students with dignity and respect, because without them, DAA cannot be a successful aviation training organization. Our students range from high school and college students to business owners, college professors, investment bankers and medical doctors. At DAA we respect our students/customers rights to their privacy. We continue to be a dynamic, growing organization, with the emphasis on professional flight training. We continue to enrol both local and international students, who are quite pleased with their progress and knowledge base while training here. We are authorized by the US Department of Homeland Security (TSA) to provide flight training to non US . Daytona Beach is also home to Daytona International Speedway, several universities, and “The World’s Most Famous Beach”. We are about an hour's drive from Orlando's Disney World, Sea World, MGM Studios, Universal Studios, Epcot, Kennedy Space Center, and St Augustine (the oldest city in North America).
