Their sons Tom and Joe have both been members of Great Britain’s U21 jumping teams. They are both heavily involved in the competition, management and production of the family’s young dressage and Showjumping horses. Tom is an UKCC Accredited coach, having trained with the likes of Franke Sloothaak has a wealth of knowledge and a dedicated group of students in both dressage and jumping. Having spent a major part of 2012 based with former Olympic gold medalist Jan Tops in Holland Joe also became second rider for the current team Olympic gold medalist Ben Maher. Now Joe is building up his own team of promising young jumpers whilst also helping Irish international show jumper, Billy Twomey, with his team of horses. WELCOME TO DAVISON EQUESTRIAN The name Davison has been synonymous with elite level equestrian sport in Great Britain and across the globe for many years. Richard Davison is a four-time Olympian (including the 2012 London Olympic Games) and European medallist, and has been at the fore-front of the international dressage world for more than three decades. Tom & Joe Davison operate the show jumping team at Davison Equestrian that spans between Europe and the USA producing, competing and coaching for and at the most prestigious competitions on the circuit, including the Global Champions Tour and Nations Cups teams.
