About Daughters Reporting The Daughters from Capital Reporting Service, Inc., formerly owned by Renee Todd, are now in business as Daughters Reporting, Inc. Since Lisa and Samantha grew up in the court reporting industry, they were immersed in the business at a young age. This allowed both of them to learn what it truly takes to run a successful agency. They have always worked side by side in the business and complement each other so well making a great team personally and professionally. With the guidance and support of their mother, Renee Todd, Daughters Reporting, Inc., has become a successful family-owned-and-operated court reporting agency here in the South Florida area. Our agency offers the very best in client care and provides excellence in all the services we provide. If you have a need, we have the solution! She continued working as a freelance reporter until 1985 at which time Capital Reporting Service, Inc., was born! While Renee was out taking the jobs, her husband Lou handled every aspect of the business. Together as a team they built Capital to be a successful agency with 35 court reporters servicing the tri-county for 25 years. In 2008 as Renee started to slow down her court reporting career, she sold her agency. She now looks forward to supporting and guiding her daughters as they venture towards replicating the same great service and success that Capital had provided for 25 years Renee's eldest daughter, Lisa Sheib, graduated high school in 1990 and quickly decided that she wanted to be a court reporter and follow in her mother's footsteps. Lisa found herself working at Capital Reporting immediately after high school learning the ins and outs of the court reporting field. She was able to learn every aspect of running an agency by answering phones, scheduling jobs, billing, producing transcripts, and making deliveries to clients. She attended Sheridan Vocational in 1991 and completed and graduated in 1994. She started her court reporting career at her mother's agency, Capital Reporting Service, Inc., and has been a court reporter now for over 20 years. She has experience in every aspect of the business; including all civil and criminal depositions, hearings, trials, arbitrations, statements, and adoptions. She loves running the business and being a court reporter. Renee's youngest daughter, Samantha Todd, graduated from high school in 1994 and obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida graduating with a Mass Communications degree in 1998. After working in sales in other industries for many years, she decided to join the family agency and work in the office learning the business. She started at Capital Reporting Service, Inc., in 2001 working in the office, managing all the financial needs of the business. She technologically brought the business to the next level enabling the business to flourish even further. She learned the ins and outs of the business which included scheduling, transcript production, billing, customer relations, collections, and all other financial aspects. Renee’s daughters, Lisa Sheib and Samantha Todd, are continuing the legacy of a family-owned-and-operated court reporting agency. As Capital had always provided, Daughters Reporting, Inc., continues under the same mindset of taking care of our clients and providing top-notch, professional reporters and services. Daughters Reporting, Inc., is based in South Florida servicing the tri-county area covering Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade Counties.
