love for horses dates back to his childhood.  Aside from a few year hiatus in the corporate world, Wayne has been professionally training Walking Horses for over 50 years and his resume� lists multiple World, International, and State Championships in various disciplines including Western, English, Performance, Driving, Halter, and Versatility.  He also specializes in starting colts and making well-rounded horses that are great trail or pleasure mounts.  Additionally, Wayne has coached several equitation champions and prides himself on training horses for the amateur rider where finding the right fit between horse and rider is paramount.  Some of the titles won by Darby Oaks Stables include:  Welcome to Darby Oaks Stables! Wayne Conkle and Tracy Pinson are the owners of Darby Oaks Stables conveniently located in Bushnell, Florida � Just an hour from Tampa, Orlando, and Gainesville.  Both have grown up with Tennessee Walking Horses and continue to be actively involved in showing, trail riding, exhibiting, breeding, and teaching.          Darby Oaks Stables houses numerous past, current, and future World, International, and State Champions � We welcome all visitors!         Darby Oaks Stables     � Take Exit #314 (Highway 48 � Bushnell).  Head East on 48 and go approximately 1.8 miles. Turn right on Main Street/CR 48 for one mile to second traffic light (Seminole ave/CR 476/CR48) � Turn left. Go 1/3 mile and turn right on Southland Ave/CR48.  Travel 1 mile and the Darby Oaks Stables sign will be on the left. � Take Highway 50 west to CR 469 (just outside Groveland).  County 469 turns into CR 48 in Center Hill � Continue straight 4 miles.  Go straight at the four-way stop for 3 miles.  The Darby Oaks Stables sign will be on the right.
