Dances with Dogs owner, Katie and her dog Briscoe. In 2001 our dog Rocky joined our family. He wasn’t planned, but he was one of the greatest things to happen to us. Rocky was actually my inspiration for opening Dances with Dogs. We found ourselves having to board him while we went away for a long weekend and frankly, I was a mess! I wanted him to be home in his own bed, with all the familiar smells and sounds, feeling safe. My thought was “I want to go on vacation, but does Rocky?” In 2002, after a year of extensive research, I opened Dances with Dogs with the goal of providing pet owners, like myself, peace of mind that their pets were safe in their own homes. Before Dances with Dogs I was the sales manager for a large floral importer. This experience along with my considerable experience working with animals ensures that Dances with Dogs clients will receive nothing but the highest level of pet care and customer service. In order to provide you with the best in service and coverage Dances with Dogs has several professional pet sitters available. This ensures that in case of emergency your pet care needs will continue without interruption.
