I joined Dalton Electric Heating Co. in 1989 and worked on the Production floor for a number of years before joining the Quality Department. After a few years as part of the 100% inspection team, through which every heater must pass before it ships, I moved to my current position in the Engineering Department. I live in Ipswich, MA born and raised. I am married with two wonderful children, who play all sports and keep me very busy. Any spare time we usually Ski, snow mobile, boat, beach, and enjoy the outdoors. After a four-year stint in the USAF, I joined Dalton Electric in 1978. I started as part of the Production team, and worked my way up to my current position as Manager, Technical Services. I enjoy the company of my grandchildren, am an avid reader and also enjoy most sports. I have 3 daughters who keep me very active. We enjoy all that New England has to offer. On the coast all four seasons beach combing and bird watching. On the weekends we’re Candlepin Bowling on our local league. I also enjoy live music, rock & mineral collecting and making accent jewelry. I started at Dalton Electric in 1986, fresh out of welding school. Over the course of 16 years I mastered the many operations for producing the best cartridge heater in the world. I then became production supervisor for 6 years, and then to my current position of Plant Manager. I have been married for 14 years and have two wonderful children. Happily married to Laurie for 42 years, we have two wonderful daughters and two granddaughters. We enjoy the outdoors [in warm weather] and my youngest daughter and I enjoy bird hunting in the fall. I have been with Dalton Electric since September of 2011 covering the MidWest and MidSouth area of the United States. During this time I have been blessed with great distributors to work with and have enjoyed uncovering new applications for heating with cartridge heaters and diffusion pump platens. This is a fascinating business and our country has tremendous industry at it's heart...I am still awed at what is out there. Prior to joining Dalton Doug spent over 25 years selling machine tools to a wide variety of manufacturers. The unique skill set he has obtained over the years enables him to identify and address solutions to improve quality and productivity. Outside of Dalton he enjoys fishing, cycling and traveling. With over 10 years of experience in Customer Service and Sales Nick joined Dalton in the winter of 2014, besides managing the Northeast Region of the U.S. Nick also manages Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula, he’s fluent in Spanish and is learning Portuguese in order to help grow our Sales in the Brazilian market. Nick lives with his family in southern New Hampshire. Started with Dalton in 2017. Having more than 25 years in sales and general management, I appreciate Dalton’s close-knit family environment and the undying commitment to customer satisfaction. I am looking forward to help continue that tradition. I live with my wife and four children in southern Maine and we enjoy the world’s best lobster. It’s hard to catch us most days, but once the snow flies you can always find our ski racing family at Ragged Mountain. One thing for sure, I am always up for a game of golf.
