Jose Val, graduated in Business Administration from “Universidad Pacifico” in Lima, Peru. Thereafter he continued his studies at Florida International University graduating with a degree in Marketing. He decided to start his Real Estate business in 2004 where he sold, upon commencement, 16 bays in the newly constructed Banyan Corporate Center and then resold 11 of these bays, making his first big step into the Commercial Real Estate Industry. Jose sold more than a total of 165,429 +/- Sq. Ft. in only his first 2 years. Representing his clients is Jose’s top priority and he takes on this responsibility with great pride and dedication. His extensive knowledge acquired from his many deals is a big plus in his Commercial Real Estate business. Every transaction is different and unique and Jose, by taking the necessary time and effort, achieves excellent results for his clients. Now as Director of D1 Property Group he is giving his best to his clients by making the commercial real estate business a life style he lives with joy and pride Mr. Perez comes to D1 from a legal and construction background. He has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1987 practicing in the areas of real estate and construction law and is Board Certified in Construction Law. Leal experience includes working with large international law firms representing in-bound foreign investment and more recently as in-house counsel for the Miami office of a large national commercial brokerage firm. Mr. Perez has extensive experience in large commercial real estate transactions and in leasing transactions. Mr. Perez worked as in-house counsel for a large foreign developer building a condominium tower in Miami and was in charge of all aspects of the managing the construction and sales process. In the late 1990’s, Mr. Perez obtained his general contractor’s license and worked on several high profile construction projects, including the foundations for the North Terminal Development at Miami International Airport – a $4,000,000 bonded project. He has a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Miami and a Law Degree from Tulane University in New Orleans. He has lived continuously in Miami since early childhood and is married with two children.
