David began working with an auto upholstery shop in Jacksonville, Florida in 1986. After only a few years, many hours of experience and a determination to succeed, he decided to branch out on his own and began producing auto upholstery jobs out of a small utility shed in his back yard. Soon thereafter, business picked up speed by word-of-mouth and awesome customers, causing his first official business to open in Orange Park, Florida as Hogan’s Auto Interiors. In 1994, the business moved to the Arlington area and the name was changed to D & L Auto Interiors, Inc. David met his wife, Leisa, at Tech Aerofoam Products where she was the office manager. They were married in 1990 and have three children: Rachael (son-in-law, Darren), Kody (daughter-in-law, Misty) and Luke. They also have eight grandchildren.
