What is the Cypress Bay Choral Association? The Cypress Bay Choral Association was founded on October 6th, 2014 for the Our vision is to achieve this by collaborating with, and supporting, the Cypress Bay High School Chorus Department’s Fund Raising and community-based activities. In doing so, we will be able to provide the school’s renowned Chorus groups with the additional financial support needed to conduct their programs and activities. Cypress Bay High School is a Nationally recognized Gold Medal School by US News and World Report, one of the top-ranked high schools in the state of Florida (#15), and in the TOP 1% in the U.S. Located in Weston, Florida, the Cypress Bay Choral Department has won many awards and recognition, including the coveted Superior and Best of Show at District and State competitions for over 10 years. The Cypress Bay Chorus has also been selected by Disney to perform in their exclusive Candlelight Processional at Epcot for the last 5 years, which is a distinct honor for the group. The Choral Development and Instruction, under the direction of Mr. Bradley Franks, has afforded many local teens the opportunity to experience vocal music at an enrichment level, and communicated the love of song amongst our local youth. As a stakeholder in our community, the CBCA will work in collaboration with the CBHS Department Chair Mr. Bradley Franks, and other local groups to promote our core mission.
