Meet the Business Owners Randy hails from the great state of New York, born and raised on Long Island. He Graduated from J.F.K. High school in Plainville NY and attended college at Nassau Community College, Garden City NY, where he studied for his Associate Degree in Business Administration. Randy began his career path in Travel by successfully completing a Travel Agent Training Course through Liberty Travel. Since that time Randy joined the Nationwide Travel Company, YTB, where he worked until he and his partner Ken started their own Travel Business, Cruising for Travel, Inc.  Randy is a highly motivated entrepreneur who really enjoys working with people and loves the Travel Business with a passion. Randy is a member in good standing with CLIA Cruise Lines International Association and has achieved the rank of Accredited Cruise Counselor, (ACC) certification. Ken was born in Louisville, Ky where he graduated from Jesse Stuart High School. He continued his education at Cumberland College in Williamsburg, Ky; majoring in Business Administration. Ken boarded his first cruise on the Costa Mediterranea  in 2000, and has been hooked on cruising ever since. He reportedly lost count at 30.  Ken's first introduction to the travel industry (as a business) was with YTB late in 2006, they use a network marketing approach to selling travel, not exactly the best business model for those who are genuinely interested in persueing a career in the Travel industry.  So he and his partner Randy Seeman decided to change their direction towards building a more traditional travel business, we incorporated Cruising for Travel, Inc. on May 7, 2009.   So began the journey of learning all he could about the Travel Industry, from a business perspective. Ken successfully completed the Penn Foster Travel Agent Program and holds a career diploma.  He went on to take the Travel Institute's National TAP test, which he passed with flying colors. Cruising for Travel has been a member in good standing with the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) every year since 2009, and achieved the rank of ACC, Accredited Cruise Counselor. Ken has also completed several destination/Vendor educational programs including: Australia's Aussie Specialist program, Royal Caribbean University of WOW, Celebrity 5-Star Agent, NCL Freestyle certified, Carnival Passport Fun Seeker, Walt Disney World Vacation Packages Specialist (2011), Globus Monograms MBA Independent Travel Specialist, AMResorts Master Agent, Sandals CSS program.  He plans to continue adding as many educational certificates as possible.
