Crown and Trim by Design is owned and operated by Vince Mantegna . He specializes in finished carpentry, Crown molding, Wainscoting, Custom door openings, Kitchen crown and Exterior maintenance free trim and the installation of Exterior & Interior doors. Working in the construction industry in Pennsylvania for 28 yrs and recently relocated to Treasure Island. Having the patience to do every job as well as possible and an appreciation for the finished product is a goal on every job. Also listening to each home-owner’s wishes and understanding their vision ensures that they are both striving for the same goal. Vince is a true professional in both workmanship and business. It was a pleasure to have him in our home. Company was excellent, timely and efficient . The quality of work was amazing and the time that the project was completed exceeded my expectations. Vince was never late, worked hard, and let you know exactly where we stood. This quality company is very competitive for the level of work they do. And you could not ask for a more congenial and nicer person than Vince When Vince came to the house to measure and provide a quote he brought lots of samples with him, which was great. We chose a simple 3.25″ molding for the entire house, with an additional 1.50″ riser in the common areas. Crown and Trim by Design is the only one I would recommend if you are in need of either trim work or finish carpenter! Vince works for himself and by himself and is the most polite, professional man out there with decades of experience, an easygoing manner, and extensive knowledge about the industry, trim and ideas that would work best for your space. Pricing is competitive and his quality of workmanship stands alone. Vince is dependable, timely, reliable and is the only carpenter we will have in our home from here on out!! We here in Pinellas County have problems with contractors, handymen and carpenters, most have no license, no show, no skill, not qualified, etc. Horror stories with quality, etc. We are thankful that we will not have to search any longer. We received quotes from other contractors, but Vincent Mantegna’s attention to detail was evident from the start, when we asked him to describe how he would go about the job. We are extremely pleased with the results for a reasonable price. It is our understanding that he works with crown molding, baseboards, window and door trim and other fine carpentry work. I personally attest to the quality work/craftsmanship and service that Mr. Mantegna’s company extended me. The finished product exceeded our expectations, and was completed exactly within the stated time frame. All materials were received and crafted in A++ condition. Mr. Mantegna and his crew reported to the project everyday at a scheduled time, and left everyday at a scheduled time after cleaning there work place of all debris. It was a pleasure dealing with a professional in every facet of this contract. I would recommend Vince for any woodwork or home improvement project that he endorses to complete.
