The co-owner of DeLand's events-only Cress Restaurant with his wife, Jenneffer, Pulapaka was imagining the dishes for a sold-out Sunday meal planned to benefit the Spring Hill community garden on South Delaware Avenue. "We should be cautious not to come in and say, 'Here, we've solved your problems of the fact that you live in a food desert, this is how you do it.' That's not at all what we're saying. We're saying 'We're invested in this because you're our neighbors.'" Cress Restaurant at James Beard House (NYC) I have been wanting to go to The Cress Restaurant and finally went. I had the best fish I have ever had. The flavors of the sauces, spices and the presentation were amazing. The appetizers and desserts are also amazing.
