Creative Quilters of Citrus County, Florida meet every second Wednesday of the month for a Business Meeting at 9:30 am in St. Ann's Episcopal Church, 9870 W. Fort Island Trail, Crystal River and every fourth Wednesday at 9:30 for a workshop for members. We put on a Quilt Show every two years, the next show will be in the spring of 2020. Members make a special quilt to be raffled at the quilt show with the proceeds donated to Hospice. We make lap size quilts and donate them to the Sheriffs Department in April and October to be given to distressed children. Anyone interested in membership should call Addie Atkinson 746-3187. We are members of NQA. The National Quilting Association was founded in 1970 by seven women in the Washington, D.C., area. Their goal was to establish an organization to stimulate interest in making, collecting and preserving quilts, and to promote education and philanthropy.
