Husband and wife team, Ken and Avrin Mathis, had a dream to bring their ideas and moral business ethics to the Gulf Coast to begin the next chapter of their lives. Creative Dreamscapes was born with the vision to provide stellar landscaping service design and implementation to residential home owners. “We never had the desire to create a large company. We always just wanted to provide top-notch design and services to home owners, without losing that personal and creative touch.”, says Ken Mathis. Sandra Diamond Byrne joined a couple of years later, bringing with her a wealth of landscaping and landscape design experience. The team was complete. And with the addition of full-color hand-drawn designs that are yours to keep, Creative Dreamscapes Plus quickly learned from our customers that this attribute is what quickly set them apart from the competition. While the other companies like to use cold, generic 3D renderings for their clients, Creative Dreamscapes Plus didn’t want to follow. Ken Mathis explains, “Everyone does that. Although it looks neat and offers a vision of what the final product could be, it leaves out the details of the colors and specific tones of the actual plants, flowers and hardscapes. No computer can do what the human eye can do.” Finally, Creative Dreamscapes Plus is rounded out by experienced landscapers that are grouped into teams depending on the project. After determining your needs, we lay out a conceptual design. Other landscape companies tend to use generic 3D renderings that take minutes to put together and don’t really convey the final product. Our designer at Creative Dreamscapes Plus uses traditional design methods. The designer will create a color rendering of the proposed plan, which will help convey what the final design will look like. Sandra worked for large companies like Home Depot and North Texas Lawn & Landscape before partnering with Ken at Creative Dreamscapes Plus.
