Who We Are Rosana’s culinary background starts with strong family and cultural traditions going back to her early years growing up in Montevideo, Uruguay; traditions that often centered around food, cooking and family gatherings. Her local cuisine was steeped in the multi-cultural influences of immigrants from Italy, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland and Germany. Following High School and while studying business management, Rosana managed a small grocery store. After immigrating to the United States, she worked in various kitchens and again managed a grocery store in the Washington, DC Suburbs, where she met chef, butcher and Argentine Chorizo producer El Chiche, who became a mentor. Wanting to focus exclusively on her love of cooking, she spent the next ten years building a career in the culinary arts. Now as the sole proprietor of Creando Catering, Rosana is focused on “Creating” memories for her clients based on the rich traditions she has known since her formative years! At Creando Catering, we want to make sure your wedding menu is perfect, so we allow you to mix and match your favorite items. We provides off-site catering for every occasion: birthday parties, aniversary, baby showers, any type of party!
