As an avid marathon runner, Crazy Lu began selling cheesecakes as a fundraiser for the National Marathon to Finish Breast Cancer. She was able to contribute thousands of dollars to the marathon and The Donna Foundation, which helps to financially support men and women living with breast cancer.
After participating in the fundraising effort for 2 years, Crazy Lu decided to start a business of her own. She continues to donate a portion of her proceeds during certain months of the year.
