CBS - Craig Business Solutions Ltd was established in 2006 as a company through which its founder Gillian Craig provided troubleshooting contracts to fast growing and struggling businesses. Overtime CBS has developed to the changing needs of our clients and offer cost effective outsourcing solutions, flexible business support and guidance workshops for business owners and managers. We specialise in assisting organisations with problem solving and maximising their businesses potential. We believe in a 'hands on approach' and above all have a 'get things done' attitude; whilst taking into consideration resources available when providing practical and creative solutions for our clients. A successful manager and director with 20 years' experience in business transformation and resource function development and management (including finance, human resource, procurement, H&S, quality assurance, property & facilities); with a consistent record of organisational troubleshooting, financial management and operational leadership. Gillian is passionate about helping SME's and third sector organisations achieve their objectives and potential; always striving for significant improvements and successful achievements. She developed and drove forward plans that grew a company’s turnover 20% year on year; focusing on people resulted in turning around staff retention by 40%; her extensive skill set and emphasis on the overall picture has resulted in increased turnover and cost reduction of between 10 to 15%. I fully appreciate the challenges facing organisational owners, leaders and managers; business is full of day to day issues which can take up so much time and effort. This can result in too much time spent working in the business and not enough time working on the business. It can be a constant struggle to find the right balance. My aim is to provide practical results driven management solutions that assist with tackling day to day issues; as well as delivering long term changes required for future success.
