Craft Food Tours Craft Food Tours was founded in 2016 as a way for us to express our deep appreciation for our family, friends, community and life experiences. We have been very fortunate to have traveled all over sampling some of the best cuisines in the world and now feel it is our duty to share with you our favorite travel hobby, Food Tours. Whether you are a local or tourist visiting Delray Beach, we hope that you spend an afternoon with us sampling the best food and drink South Florida has to offer! Early 2016 on another foodie adventure in Austin, Texas, Craft Food Tours the idea was conceived. Both of us had already done various food tours prior to this trip but something just felt special this time around. The Craft food and beer scene in Austin opened our eyes to a new world. A world of high quality, locally sourced food and drink. A world of CRAFT. We began to look into opening our very own food tour in the fastest growing foodie town we know. We reached out all over the country to other food tour operators and they led us to Shane Kost at Food Tour Pros. Shane is the founder of Chicago Food Planet and owner of Food Tour Pros. We took his two day workshop, which was a comprehensive guide to the Food Tour Business. Before being able to call myself a resident of Delray Beach, I was raised in South Florida where I started to develop my aspiring passion for food and cooking. Worldwide travels have helped open my eyes on the diversity of food and the individuality of the chefs, recipes and restaurants that help shape the world we savor.
