I was born and raised in Louisville KY, where I started my photography business in January 2009. That is until fate stepped in, introduced me to my now husband, and I relocated to Miami, FL. We now have 2 beautiful and amazing girls, Evan Leighanne and Elliott Christine.  When I bought my first DSLR, I found myself staring at wedding photographer blogs and ultimately knew that was where my heart was being pulled. I spent over a year learning the craft through self teaching methods and a lot of research, book reading and experimenting. Before I officially started my business I spent time shooting along side talented photographers in Indianapolis who allowed me to learn and grow. Once I actually started my business journey and began booking weddings of my own I knew there was no turning back. As the years have passed, I've photographed over 100 weddings, made amazing friends in my clients as well as colleagues and I truly still enjoy everything about my job. Recently, I have even ventured into freelance photo editing for other photographers and even more recently, I've jumped into the educational realm. I've spoken on photography and mentored others in the business, and look forward to coaching more in the future because I truly love watching others grow.
