Poitier-Kelly, Owner, with now over (eighteen)18 years in the business, also former Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of an elite minority owned security company, for five(5) years. Davetta currently holds a Degree in Education. She’s proficient in bookkeeping, computers, payroll, leadership and all other various office and security field duties. She also holds a current Class “D” security management license, along with the position of Director, Secretary and Event Planner for Heritage Affairs and Public Services, for over ten(10) years. Davetta has a very strong Religious life, full of faith and dedication. This gives Courtesy Professional Security, a fighting and leading edge in the security industry, for which she represents. Courtesy Professional Security, is founded and aided by, Robert A. Kelly, Senior Partner, and Executive Officer, which makes up over, twenty(20) years of Management experience and twenty-three(23) years, of security and law enforcement experience. He provides a wealth of knowledge specifically related to the security industry; working directly with government and federal agencies, such as FEMA, SERT, U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, American Red Cross, Local Military Bases, Kennedy Space Center, FPS, ICE, State and National Government Officials. The Administrators of this company, had the privilege of working with these agencies, in seeing hundreds of security officers receive their GSA certifications due to the massive need for personnel, after the hurricanes that hit Florida and following the next year with Hurricane Katrina’s Louisiana, and Mississippi devastations. This board, provided disaster deployment response, security and aide to facilities located throughout Florida, Mississippi and Key West disaster areas, security for retail and banking centers throughout Central Florida, transportation for officers to and from locations, provided GSA ammunition and silhouette targets for qualifying the officers, back ground checks and drug testing for the officers, protection for water treatment plants, during terrorists attacks, protection for county facilities and convention centers, during the evacuations, protection at local military bases, Kennedy Space Center and FEMA Headquarters in Orlando, Florida, provided protection for State and National Government Officials. This Committee, also protected assets and damaged infrastructure, along with protecting FEMA, U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, SERT, and American Red Cross Mobile Command Units, throughout the State of Florida, help set up mobile command centers, for immediate operations and communications, help distribute food and water to victims, managed over 150 officers throughout several locations between Florida and Mississippi during disasters, set up deployment teams fully licensed and experienced, help them obtain GSA certification, maintained accurate bookkeeping for payroll and reimbursement purposes. This Board prepared and packaged all documents for each individual officer for direct processing with the Federal Protective Service (FPS) office, in Atlanta, GA, fully clothed and equipped officers with all necessary equipment and SOP’s. This Board deployed over 20 officers per shift to FEMA Headquarters, within 48 hours if the initial call, deployed over 15 officers to Mississippi during Hurricane Katrina within 72 hours of the initial call, working directly with FPS and ICE. Therefore, compiling knowledge, cultural diversity, terrorist training, and most importantly experience, which forms a well rounded representation, for this agency. Our staff primarily consists of reserve officers, former military personnel, law enforcement officers, experienced and/or well trained security officers.
